We are looking for a talented and competitive Media Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment to join our sales staff at the-rainbowknot.com. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making multiple calls per day, working with vendor partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales, within 20 hours per week, as an Independent Media Sales Representative.

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure if necessary
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain activity of the fifty (50) corporate leads on the Sales Rep Worksheet
  • Team with vendor partners to build a pipeline and close deals
  • Perform effective online demos to prospect

Requirements

  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience making dozens of calls per day
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong skills for closing sales
  • Maintain personal computer, printer, cell and/or landline phone
